Who We Are

Welcome! I’m Melissa Finson, a dedicated professional with over 15 years of experience in vocational services, benefits management, disability management, and veteran support. My journey towards vocational empowerment began early, shaped by a deep-seated desire to serve others and make a meaningful difference in their lives. From my earliest roles as a Substitute Teacher, to my work as an Employment Specialist, then more recently as Director of Vocational Services. I discovered the profound joy of helping individuals unlock their potential and pursue their passions.

Throughout my career, I’ve been driven by a genuine empathy for those facing challenges, whether it be individuals with disabilities, veterans in need of support, or students seeking guidance in their academic and vocational journeys. My early experiences working in veteran service offices ignited a passion for advocacy and service to our nation’s heroes. While assisting veterans with filing disability claims, experiencing homelessness, and advocating for their rights, the work became not just a job, but a calling an opportunity to honor their sacrifices and support them in their journey towards stability and well-being.

In my career, I have helped over 750 individuals find fulfilling careers, developed an International Vocational Assessment program for Defense Base Act claims, built a Vocational Case Manager training program for a national Employment Network, assisted transitional aged youth with career development, helped thousands of veterans get benefits, and more. My passion for serving others, honed through years of diverse experiences and unwavering dedication, is here to guide and support clients every step of the way.
